Just for the members of DORC-NH (aka Land Rover Club of New Hampshire). This in-depth recovery class will prepare members for the upcoming off-road season. Students will learn about gear selection, gear ratings, how to extract a vehicle from self recovery to the basics of winching. You will be hands on all day working and learning how to use gear correctly and safely in real trail scenarios.

Manual Extractions: traction boards, Hi-Lift Jack, Airing up/down
Traction Extractions: flat towing and dead towing methods
Momentum Extractions: K-ropes
Winching 101: winch operation/communication/single line (1:1) and double line (2:1) pulls.
I.D.P.E. process: working as a group to evaluate, plan and extract a vehicle from a stuck situation.
