The Advanced Recovery Class will take your skills to the next level. This class will build off the skills learned in the “Recovery Basics Class” by utilizing the methodology and principles with more complex rigging and equipment uses for extractions. Picking up with mechanical advantage in winch rigging, we will cove the Spanish Burton to the Pendulum Maneuver. Students will learn and practice the major uses of the Hi-Lift Jack, flat towing, winching and Stuck Assessments in real stuck scenarios. This is a very hands on day spent both on private land as well as on trail. Other key areas covered: working as a team, safety and spotting. *Requirements: you must have taken the Recovery Basics Class either as a group class or private lesson.
